This is the first Tamiya model I have ever built and let me say that the fit and finish was perfect and the metal transfers were a pain in the ass. The color is TS-58 Pearl Light Blue over TS-30 Silver Leaf. It looks to be a spot on match to the car I tried to replicate.
If anyone wants outdoor pictures I can take them if you wish. :sunglasse

Car I tried to replicate. I got everything except the wheel decals(woudlnt stick??) and the side s2000 transfers the decided they wanted to fly across the room to never be found again.

Very nice S2000, beautiful color to replicate, I would love to see yours outdoors. Those wheel decals were amazingly difficult to get to stick - but oh well. And the metal transfers get easier with time. Great build though! Thanks for sharing!

good job... i still have a hard time with metal transfers. did you paint the holes in the exhaust black? i think it would look more realistic like that.

Sad news is that it is overcast here so no outdoor pictures. Even worse is I will be out of town so I cannot take them for another week...

Thanks for all the comments!

good looking car, man!

a little advice, you might want to check the right exhaust pipe and paint the interior black, otherwise it s a real stunner, it s so lifelike!

I d be very proud of the results!

Why would I paint the interior black when the car im replicating has a dark blue interior?

Awesome job!! very clean, its nice to see some "stock" cars being made!
you could add some pieces of fine mesh in the front grills to make it 100% like tonioseven mentioned

Now since everyone has pointed it out I think I might pick up some fine mesh. I dont know where but I can check my LHS's. Thanks for all the comments!

i think he meant to paint the inside of the exhaust black.

May wanna outline the head/tail lights w/ a black marker next time :dunno: even without that though, good job on the lights
