Help My Car Is Stalling

i have a 1989 pontiac firebird V6 5 speed and i am haveing problems with it stalling. it stalls when i start it up and when i am on the gas it stalls even when i am on the clutch. it starts to sputter and i loose all power when i am on the gas if i dont step on the clutch and take my foot off the gas it stalls. i changed the fule pump and the fule filter.

Could it be the fule injection system or the injectors?

i have been thinkin of swaping the fule injection system for a carberator you think this will fix my prob?

well my brother had this prob on a 86 2.8, it could be your ignition,
cracked distributor cap, rotor button, or the electronic control module,
and the ignition. you have a electrical problem, and i would start with
one of these. it corrected his problem. let me know how it goes.

I have a 1991 firebird 3.1 v6 AT I have the same problem as you. My car will sputter the same way. I have already replaced my fuel pump and filter and still have the same problem. I am going to take the other guys advice of checking the electrical system and ECM.... Give me an update of what you did and wether or not it has helped.
