I would assume that a mugen intake would cost more, mainly because of the name. I'm not sure of the quality of a mugen intake though they are generally a quality company. Are you sure it isn't a "mugen style intake" meaning looks like mugen, has shitty name like mugin or something and tries to fool people into thinking its mugen.

I agree w/ knorwj. I doubt you can get a mugen anything for $50. It's probly a knock off. If it's not, then go for it. Worse case, you sell it to someone else.............fISH
PS. AEM makes good intakes.

If it was strut bars for $150.00 they where not mugen. retail they are $290.00. Mugen builds race parts and engines for Honda. Their parts are very high quality. And if it was a intake for fifty is was probably megan or some garbage like that. The Mugen intake retails for $680.00 lookup king motorsports on the web.

Mugen, Toda, Spoon, Comptech, Skunk2 are among the best honda companies, and beside all that a lot of people like to use stock jdm-spec parts, which sometimes function better than the aftermarket items.
I'm a Comptech, Mugen man myself.. :smokin:

Mugen makes excellent parts. Simply because they work closely with Honda in making those parts.
Downside; Way overpriced.
