Epoxy putty hardens by chemical reaction, so you don't have to worry about the evapolation of solvent. Just form the desired shape with your finger, and put it on. Make sure to sand the surface of the body, so that the putty sticks to it well. Also, moisten your fingers often, so that the putty won't stick to your fingers.
