67 Gto Specs-400 Pontiac, Street Cam, 750 Cfm Edelbrock, Carter Elect. Fuel Pump, Braided Steel Coated Rubber Fuel Line, Glycerin Filled Pressure Gauge.

The Pressure Gauge Reads Normal Pressure When The Car Is Cool, After It Heats Up, The Gauge Drops To Zero . The Pressure Gauge Is Located Under The Hood. I Have Replaced The Fuel Pump A Few Times, But The Problem Persists.

Any Suggestions?

I suspect vapour lock. Your fuel line is getting too hot and the fuel is boiling in the line, so the pump cannot suck the fuel.

Vapour lock cannot happen on the 'pressure' side of the pump, so try moving the fuel pump further back. This is the main advantage of an electric pump on a carbureted car. Mount the fuel pump beside the gas tank and you will not get vapour lock.

Otherwise, insulate the line where its near the exhaust.
It does not take too much heat to cause vapour lock.
