Well a relay is like a switch it connects power, the ECU, and the fuel pump. When one signal comes through it goes through a coil creting a magnetic field that closes a switch to connect the, say the fuel pump to power.

buy and replace? is anyone out there into test it to make sure its not fried and if so, then repair and if it cant be ressurected, then buy and replace?

You can test, Helms manual tell how, dont have it to memory. I believe someone said a while back they resoldered theres and it worked for a while.

i think mine was 48 at auto zone, i searched for hours to find it and didnt, because i didnt know what the stock one looked like, my friend found it in 5 mins
