Heat Extraction

Is there anyone out there who has experimented with getting all that heat out from under the hood? It just seems that compared to "other" cars, that this car has too much heat build up under that hood. It can't be good for all the different types of things in there.
Are there any nice looking heat vents that would work on this hood? I've seen GranPrix with them and was just curious if anyone has done such a thing. I would like to but don't want to ruin the looks, or the hood.
