I know a lot of people have had problems with the automatic transmission on the TL's, but my problem is getting worse. I recently bought my 2000 TL used from a dealership. Within 3 weeks, the car was jerking around and the rpm's going crazy. I called a local Acura dealer and they said my VIN was one of the cars affected and the trans. needed to be replaced. They were nice and gave me a rental and replaced it. Well, two months later, the problem is going on again. I called the repair guy back and he had my car for a week driving it around, but said he didn't notice anything so he couldn't do anything unless he had some malfunctioning part to send in to Acura as the cause. The car is still acting up and now the maint. required light is continuing to blink after I start the car. I just got the oil changed so that is not a factor. It has 57,000 miles on it. Anyone have a clue as to what is going on and what I should do? PLEASE HELP!!!
