Who would win.... An 1986 Chevette or a 2003 Cobra? I swear if I see another thread like that I am not coming back.
Now for the serious stuff:
How much gain do you really get from adding under drive pulleys?
Is the Diablo Predator ($419) worth the cost? I heard it adds 35 HP, is that realistic?

Was reading an older 5.0 & SF on the shitter today, they gained 16 RWHP at peak on a 5.0 going to underdrives. They seem worth it, as long as you don't have any charging issues presently or a massive stereo.
A chip isn't going to add 40 horsepower on a stock N/A 2V motor.

Mustang motors arn't going to be 3V till 2005. I think the F150 already has the 3V motor.

Yup. The 2005 Mustang GT will have a 4.6 3V. The 2004 F-150 uses a 5.4L 3V now as well.

Nooo! Boosted! Put down the magazine!!!!! :evillol:
Yes the Cobra 4.6 and Mach 1 4.6 are DOHC 4V motors.
I agree, underdrives are worth it. Just gotta get used to some of their quirks, sometimes.
Do you still have stock exhaust and stock gears? Some of the best bang for the buck on a 'stang is found there...

I may not know a lot about the computerized Mustangs, but I do know that in any circumstance gears are a GREAT modification. Never overlook or underestemate the gears! In my opinion they should be everyone's first modification. A stock motor with gears make the car seem like a real beast. Find a nice intermediate gear though, because gas is way too expensive.

The 2 things I've noticed with udp's is that it's harder to turn when going slow, (such as turning into a parking spot), and when I have the radio and headlights on at an idle you can watch the battery meter dip pretty low and the headlights dim a bit, revving it up 1-200 rpm's remedies that.

Predator Tuner -- I just got back from a test drive after installing the Predator Tune. I did the default performance tune 1st and it was definately noticeable. Then I did a custom tune and that was better. I would say from my test drive it's kicking at least another 20 RWHP maybe more (very noticeable thru the full RPM range). I also got Steeda under drives today and will install them this week. I am shopping for wheels to get some traction then I should be set to take care of my buddy's 911.
