"Wanna apologize to the president now or later?'

Sounds like a fine piece of investigative interviewing.

O'reilly raised nothing of substance.Bush is still a liar.

I hope the WWE can sign them up and let them fall all over each other. Though I wouldn't want to see either of them in tights :puke:

I can guaran-damn-tee you the soldiers over there in Iraq aren't thinking of themselves as children. They are men. Moore is an idiot. End of discussion.

Yeah after reading the interview I think Moore took the "sacrifice your child" argument too far. Every time he was asked a question thats how he responded. All his arguments were based on emotion too much I think. I mean that's a loaded question. Would you sacrifice your child for world peace, to cure aids, to stop hunger, to stop crime, in return for a big mac?? If you answer no then your are somehow against the cause and if you answer yes you are evil for sending your child to death. Unless your child is Jesus, sacrificing his life will have little affect! I also can't belive he agrees that Bush was misinformed yet still calls him a liar. It seems like they were arguing more of the definition of a liar than anything else. That was a dissapointing debate.

You start with a pro-republican biased attitude, and willingly swallow that a multibillion dollar intelligence network was so incompetent that their rock solid evidence(that they had from day one, remember? I remember.) turned out to be a bunch of claptrap and codswallop.

I don't believe that for a second. When the rhetoric started flying in Washington about Iraq, the administration had long made up their mind that they were going to invade, and they then used every possible means they could to try to convince the American public. A lot of people, actually trusting their government, bought into it. Now it turns out that it wasn't true, and you ask me to believe that it was an honest mistake, and the mistake was entirely the fault of the intelligence agencies? Come on, give me a break. :2cents:

Thats fine if you don't believe that Bush really did know the truth or not, but it seems to me that Moore is saying the Bush was in fact misinformed and yet Moore does call him a liar. Thats what I find odd.
----------
MOORE: He didn’t tell the truth, he said there were weapons of mass destruction.

O'REILLY: Yeah, but he didn’t lie, he was misinformed by — all of those investigations come to the same conclusion. That’s not a lie.

MOORE: Uh huh. So, in other words, if I told you right now that nothing was going on down here on the stage…

sooooo is he saying that he agrees bush was misinformed?
------------------
--------
MOORE: Well, that’s almost pathological. I mean, many criminals believe what they say is true; they could pass a lie detector test…

soooo Bush did believe what he said was true?
----
Its all over the interview. it looks like Moore says "ok he was informed and told a lie" that's the part I can't believe. Moore should have been saying that "Bush knew the truth, yet told a lie" but he never says anything like that.

He was dancing around the issue. If he says that Bush knew the intel as false, it's slander and they'd come down on him like a ton of bricks.

Whether Bush knew or not, he wasn't listening to any intelligence when he decided to invade Iraq, and was not going to let anything deter him for that course.
