i beat a T/A not really

i was in the left turn lane on a road that has two left hand turn lanes, and this wet behind the ears 16 or 17 yr old kid pulled up next to me in the other turn lane. He throws a couple revs feeling like a badass. Im like oh great... We get an arrow, and this kid roast his tires and loses traction through the turn and slides the rear end up onto the sidewalk on the other side, tearing his rear wheel off on the curb. I couldnt help but laugh, considering i wasnt even racing, but i turned around to go help.

Dont ya just love those kinda kids?:D :rolleyes:

Well you have a point since most are RWD. I am very sure that I could get a good old overpowered domestic to corner damn good with a little work. You can always improve on the stock hadling.

i read alot of stuff about the poor handling but i guess they weren't designed to corner they're more straight line speed aren't they?

I had an allmost identical situation a few hours ago, except the T/A driver was someone I knew and he knew not to roast his tires. He was in the inside out of three left turn lanes while i was on the outside, both waiting for the green arrow. I saw him jump on it and I followed suit thanking god for my underpowered CRX and sticky as tires... I floored it through 1st and 2nd making the turn with virtually no loss of traction. He had the option of trying to power through like me and loosing traction or kinda babying it, he chose to baby it and i whooped his ass, I wouldn't race him in a straight-line 'cause he runs low 13's but i'll take him at an autoX anyday! :)

it just reminded me of the time i hit a telephone pole in my moms suburban a few years back. this skinhead bitch was talking shit to me earlier and when i hit the pole he drove by and flipped me off. Needless to say, the next day he was dealt with. i got suspended but i think it was worth it.

I hate it seeing those kids like that. They abuse their cars, cause daddy bought it for 'em. They have no respect for cars nor do they have respect for their own lives :rolleyes:
