98 Voyager Radiator fan will not go off and continues to run even after you turn the car off. I stopped it by pulling the 40 amp fuse. Anybody know what causes this problem

Thanks for any help,

You may have a stuck relay.

The control circuit: (When ignition is on) Power first goes to the temperature switch (bottom of the radiator). When hot, switch then sends power to the relay. Relay then directs power to fan motors over seperate circuit controlled by that 40 amp fuse.

We are experiencing the same problem the fan has been running several hours, which one of the 40 amp fuses should be pulled?

Rory,

are you Rory Glenn Page, DHS class of 1978? If so, I would like to catch up on old times.
