please help!...

i have an aftermarket cd player to put into my '98 contour, i was wondering how to get the old one out..if it was the screws underneath that are holding it in, and if anyone with experience with a contour has any tips.

You need a sterio removal kit from walmart, They are special rods that go into the hole's on the side of the radio to pop loose the clips on the inside that hold the radio in, They're not much, I think 6.99 at the most.
