yeah in the long run the camaro wasnt built for 200mph+ so it might start to break down...but at the same time itt can probably beat a mclaren in 0-60 and quarter mile, but still who would take a firebird over a mclaren!?

how about the new bugatti with a W16 engine, but its kinda gay they cant make power w/o turbos... but still 0-60 in top 2's and around 245-255mph and 1001 hp and 8 liters... damn...

it cant happen, a 95 mclaren you can buy for $250,000 and it STOCK runs 230-250 so even with a newer one there is alot of improvements..therefor it has earned the tag as 'the fastest car in the world' ..well street legal anyway.

what are you smoking? 95 mclaren = $250k??? no the base price is between $1,300,000-1,400,000 ... i doubt you will ever find one for $250k since the prices keep going up...

but actually, just to update, if we are talking production cars, to my knowledge Motor Trend magazine has proclaimed the Lingenfelter 427 TT vette as the fastest production car on the planet, 0-60 in 1.9 seconds, quarter mile in 9.8??? at 147 mph. the Mclarin is bad ass, but far from untouchable.
