I'm trying to replace my drivers window (it was broken out last week) have priced autoglass people but my snag is that the power does not work in order to replace the glass..
I've removed interior panel and found that the 2 wires (blue and yellow) coming out of the motor or activator (I don't know what it is) are sheared. However there is good power coming through them at the point of the cut.
Is that part easily replaced, or can I somehow get the cut ends out of that part and reinsert the hot wires back in at the connection point?

any advice?

Hmm... So you want to splice the wires together? What cut them in the forst place? I ask this so after a repair they won't get damaged again. If the Power window regulator is good why not just splice the wires together and use shrink wrap to insulate them. If you can splice the wires together I'd take a trip to the local hardware shop get some male-female connecters and some crimping pliers or use some tap splice connectors. You will have to be able to provide access for some pliers to squeeze the tap connectors. I would definately insolate the connection however.

Jeep power window regulators are garbage. If you end up needing a new one, never buy from the dealer they are way over priced.
