what is F-Body?

Can anybody tell me what F-Body stands for?

body by fisher. i dunno more lol

ITs just a letter GM gave the camaro and firebird to help identify them. The cavaliers and sunfires are j bodys. Theres A and G bodies, all kinds but thats all they mean. Im pretty sure it doesnt have anything to do with fisher bodies.

Well On The Inside Of Car It Says Fisher Bodies

Fisher bodies was just a division that gm bought up years ago.

The logo is in other cars too.
