well finally got the guts to post my 2 Month old Project Build from the tamiya castrol nsx kit.
I have made lots of mods to the body like the fenders, custom wing, and moded the rear of the car.
I think i'll take the headlights from a fujimi kit to be correct. That's to bad no one makes the 03' takata nsx decals

Awesome. How nice of the teams to make the rear window opaque - that will make it easier to modify the scoop. Don't you love it when the 1:1's give us poor modellers such considerations? Too bad about the decals - that stands in the way of many great motorsport models. You might could get some custom made, though?

Looking good so far,
I too am planning on doing exactly the same but with the mobil 1 car, Tamiya base kit but with parts borrowed from a fujimi version of the new car (headlights, rear lights, front bumper and possibly the rear window).
I will be watching your progress carefully. Good Luck.
P.s. What did you use to build the rear wing?
Steve

Well i used a whole bunch of sheet styrene and lots of reference pics, plus
alot of trail and error used a 03' skyline kit's wing as a guide line like width and depth and height.
