97 Grand Am Computer

the computer relay that you use to check code doesnt work or just doesnt send code on the car that i just purchased. Is this something that i can hook up myself or is there anything i can do period to fix this???

any suggestions are appreciated

look for wires that are cut or disconnected on the back of the connector....trace them to make sure they are all intact....

computer relay? not sure I'm understanding that right but I know of no computer relay. DLC (Diagnostic Link Connector) yes but relay no. I can only ask you are using a OBDII code reader or scantool that talks the language GM uses right?
