work rant

OK I need to vent, There is this old guy at work, for privacy sake I will just call him "Old Fuck", he had got to be the laziest son of a bitch anywhere on this fucking planet. "Old Fuck" passes his work on to everyone else! He calls in sick at least two times a week. When he is here hes usually off on one of his 45 minute smoke breaks, when he is not away hes smoking that god damn pipe of his at his fucking desk blowing smoke in everyones face! (BTW it is illegal for him to smoke at his desk because we kave to deal with the public. Smoking is permited in designated areas only accordint to local bylaws) Just because he has been with the company for 29 years he thinks he is managment, with he is not! My first day on the job I was told I DO NOT have to listen to him. When he does work, he is double checking everyone elses work. We actually get more work done when he is not here because we dont have to stop what we are doing to listen to his bitching and when he is gone we have an extra computer for the summer students to use! :mad: He actually spends between a hour and a half to two hours every morning on the phone without saying a word! oh correct that last week I heard him say " You know how I like it baby" :eek7: This guy has at least fifty porn sites bookmarked on his computer! yet he claims he doesnt even know how to open internet explorer :mad: Whenever a woman walks into the shop, he its on her! "Old Fuck" you 68 and married, you dont need to hit on everything female that walks through the doors! That fucking bastard even hit on one of my G/F's when she came to go out for lunch! :swear: You fucking horny old bastard!, your 68 and she's 18 and was going out with me and you knew it! The worst part is "Old Fuck" has been around so long that he used to work with the head of the company when he was just a grunt like the rest of us. because of this "Old Fuck" hasnt been fired! I know my manager has put in several requests to have him fired, but hes been there to damn long to be fired! FUCK I WANT TO PUNCH THIS GUY IN THE FUCKING HEAD!!!!
Fuck Ive been in a cast for the last week and I still do more work in 1 hour than he does in a week!!!! Ok enough ranting I need to go hit something!!!! :banghead:

Seniority is not a bitch, Ive got a lot of seniority here but I don't act like that. Ive got people who are just under me who do similar things. Just report it to YOUR boss and see what he can do. If he cant get fired, take steps as to just go about your day without coming into contact with his old ass

Oh, but it can be. I have experienced this monster firsthand. How many times do you think someone has complained about this guy if he has been there for 30 years? Boss probably loves the guy because he is an arse licker.

My boss hates this mother fucker, I know of at least four request to have him fired form last year. Unfortunalty because we have reativly small amount of employees the head of the company has said that before anyone can be fired, he must aprove it, since "Old fuck" is friends with the head of the company he wont get fired :disappoin From 9:00 - 10:00 this morning "Old Fuck did 3 minutes of work and the rest was spent smoking or listening to the phone, he didnt say a word yet again! The part that really pisses me off is he acts like he is management even though he olds the exact same positon I do!

In all seriousness, I would keep a diary on the guy. Keep tabs on him and what he does. If necessary bring one of those portable tape recorders that fit in a pocket and switch it on when you are near him and he acts like an ass in front of the woman. Being that he is not in management is he in the union? If so bring up a greivance on the guy. If no Union, keep a diary and after a few repeatitive episodes, send a copy to the head boss.

If he leaves his area for a while and leaves his PC open, you can also take a snap shot of his bookmarked favorites and send that pic to the company head in an email or worse send an email from his computer with a virus or better yet to the company head telling him off the president etc. I am sure the boss will not like that.

The problem is "Old Fuck is friends with the head of the company, since "Old Fuck" is totally illerterate when it comes to using the computer for work perposes so the IT techs believe he might not know how to get online :rolleyes: and he can aways say someone else has used his computer. Hes carved himself a nice little niche, hes got his own stupidity covering his ass! :swear: with the head of the company being a freind of his, we cant touch him. Hell the guy is so fucking annoying that one of the temps actually quite because of "old Fuck". I got respect of my elders, just not his guy. Personally I dont give a fuck if he hits on younger girls, it pisses me off that he hit on my (at the time) girlfriend even though he knew she was dating me. And for the record he is married. When i first started i did talk to him, until I got to know him, now i do my best to avoid him. I have heard the things he has been through over and over and over! This guy get turned down by every woman he talks to! I can thank him for one thing though, one of the woman he hit on came to file a complaint with me and after talking to her about it she gave me her personal phone number and said I could take her out anytime :smile:

Hey watch it, I'm one of those old guys, well not quite that old, but in the middle of the seniority list with 30+ years in the company. I can run rings around the "younger" guys who are afraid to climb poles, work in man holes, etc. Hell, I've got more time in the company than my stupid supervisor has been alive! All I hear from the younger guys is, "I'm wasn't trained on that yet". Read the damn manual, it's not that hard, to read that is. Okay, thread hijacking over.
