Just curious on the K&N website it says the fipk has shown gains up to 26hp i know that wasnt for the 3000gt (i really would like to know what car that was) but if anyone tested before and after putting it on their car could they let me know how much of a difference it made.

Also i was looking on ebay and came across a grounding kit for like $12. Will a grounding kit even make a difference or is it something to have if you have a strong stereo with amps and such.

Thanks

The filter will help improve your HP. I think 20hp is overrated, but in conjunction with opening your exhaust, it really does make a difference.

Sorry, I don't know much about what a grounding kit could do for the car. I've always looked skeptically at those things since the electical system in the car is already grounded.

The amount of HP gained from the filter varies on your set-up, 26 is a little far fetched

The gruonding kit is good for better idles and usually for cars tha have high powered stereo system, it's a good thing. Ive also heard rumors that some can provide better gas mielage :dunno:

the grounding kits do give you a smooter idle as said. Also, it will give you better throttle response too, from what i've heard, and possibly like a 4 whp gain.
