hey all had an event full night recently

coming home with my gf in my Zed, we passed a Misubishi magna, (dont no if u guys get them) its a 3.5 v6 AWD sedan, with 3 guys in it.
next set of lights, we start to rev.

lights go green and i floor it, i totally blem him away, got like 3 or 4 car lengths on him. so i slow down at about 100 back to 60 (the limit) and he keeps on going and tries to burn it passed me, so hes gaining on me fast and i floor it, he gets like 2 car lengths on me when he stops gaining, and i start to pull back.
we r going like 130 o so now up a farkin HUGE hill! and im pulling back on him i get about a metre in front of him and we reach the top of the hill.

i no the road well, so i slowd down quickly beacuse there was a big dip coming up and a corner, i knew this so i slowed down, he kept going maybe 150 and FULLY nearly lost it!
frightned me quite a bit hey.

still i won heh yeh go team!

Im writing this partly as a warning!!!!!
2 cars racing over that very hill really recently one of them lost it at the exact same point as i described in my race, hit a poll and killed all 3 people, 2 chicks and a guy.
We all no the dangers but im just saying fucken b careful!!!!
its too easy to lose it and kill urself, it doent hit you that could happen to u, till u see it first hand, k.
RACE SAFE PPL!!!!!!

(K how much do i sound like my mum)

Nice race...

And I openly accept death. I beat the rush and already reserved my place in hell.

Nice run, keep it safe.

And I openly accept death.

We'll see how much you 'accept it' if you kill someone else.

Im sure you wouldnt like it if someone had to visit you for the rest of your life through 3 inch glass and a telephone. Racing is fun but gotta keep it safe. If you see tailight s a head be a good guy and slow down.

...and never go over 110 on public streets. Things happen way too quickly over 110
110=the magic number:lol:

110 mph? .... ever see someone lose control at 40-45 mph at an autocross?

just moving in a car is dangerous. trying to slowly weasel him down to a reasonable number. Youve go him driving below the speed limit

yea you have to use your head and know when fast is to fast on public streets i never go over 80 on public streets even if the other person keeps going.. its just not worth it and i would hate to hit a nyc pot hole doing 80mph.. i ususally do the posted speed limit or in a rush no more then 50.. well be safe and use good judgement..

i think it's great that someone posted about being safe. We all enjoy driving and having fun but it's good to have a wake up call once in a while. i wouldn't race to hardcore with anyone in my car. it's not worth killing you g/f or your best friend over a race.

I am in Wyoming, so I figure that 110 is about equal to 50 in NYC

People drive in New York? I thought they just parked cars in the middle of the road so the cabbies could charge more.

thats why organised street races are best... its safer and everyone there is endangering their own lives by choice... no innocent bystanders

Organized street races are NOT safer.

If someone can host a video, I got one of a camaro losing control and plowing through a crowd of bystanders at an organized street race...and the worst thing is that everyone immediately starts running to their cars so they dont get caught....Organized race scenes just give off bad vibes to me, with everyone being so confrontational and anal about a damn race.

Therefore, the best alternative would be racing in controlled environments, such as drag strips and SOLO events. Of course, not all of us abide by the law and choose this.

I don't pick races on roads I don't know. I like to know where Im going to be after I hit 90mph. Then again an ignorant driver can make a safe road unsafe real quick. I've had too many of those experiences.
