Suggestions?

Hey fellas, I just got my '85 camaro and I just wanted some ideas of what I could do to it. I know its a personal thing but basically I wanna hear what your favorite thing is that you did to your car. Maybe you got $500 rims or you got a disco ball instead of a dome light, perhaps you got some special part that enables you to fly, whatever. Im just looking for some ideas. Theres nothing wrong with my car other than its need for a good paint job, I just want to put some money into it. So really this is your chance to brag about what you've got, or dream about what you want. Im open to pretty much any idea, except for re-upholstering in an entire Barbie theme maybe.

Install all new polyurethane bushings around the entire car and upgrade the suspension.

The only thing Ive spent money on is making it faster which I find more fun!!!

id work on the engine first....what do u got in there now im sure there is room for improvement

Actualy D, the last thing I would work on is the enginel, mechanicly anyway, last is the paint and body work of course. But get the bassis down first. Start from the rear end and work yourself forward. Suspension all the way around, if it's tubular and you can afford it, get it. I'm talking controll arms, sway bars, panhard(wonder)bars, torque arms..etc.. Then poly bushings, motor and tranny mounts. Rear end, good gears, I'd recomend 3.43 probably, it's a not whimpy and not extreme either. Wheels and tires. Then finaly engine and tranny. Best bet is to not ask a generalized question on here, be spacific and you'll get an answer faster. Like, what kind of suspension should I use. OK, great. Good luck and welcome.

Yeah sorry, I didnt really have a specific question. I was just trying to get a feel for what others did. By the way, for the guy who asked what kind of engine I had, its a crate engine V8 305, nothin too special I suppose. But anyway. it seems like suspension is something that everyone seems to agree with, so I'll probably look into that a little more. Thanks guys
