I just took some pics of my car and I was wondering if you guys could tell me what you think of it. I couldn't figure out how to get them into my profile so I just threw up a free site. The addy is www.angelfire.com/ok5/mymitsu

Now you need to turbo it and give that wing some function!

I like the body kit and CF hood. The graphic on the hood should have been a little more metallic maybe to accentuate it (can't tell if it is, pics are a little grainy, and the light for the shot was not in your favor).

I am not a big fan of the color of the car, as I prefer sleeper colors, but it is your car and as long as you are happy with it.

You should post it on cardomain.

I personally do not like the yellow and really hate the ricer wing. I've never been a fan of all gunmetal rims. Really, I don't like any of it but the greddy. Just my opinion, but if you like it, thats all that matters.

well geeze! hehe Well for one the graphic on the hood was on it when I bought the hood used. See what happened was the previous owner had that ricey sticker on it and the hood got a little oxidated. So when I took it off you could still see where it had been. Does anyone know how to get the scum off of it or am I just stuck with it. Also the car is a GT and I thought that there were no turbo kits available for that application. However, I am looking at buying a stage 1 rippmods sds for it. I just have to save up a bit and its MINE!!! ne ways. Thanks for the replies.

Oh ya, one quick question. I'm getting a lot of wheel hop out of launch and I've tried different launching rms but nothing seems to work. Is there anything that would help me out?

Some good ole elbow grease will get the sticky grime left on your hood. That and degreaser maybe.

There is a turbo kit available for the GT! And you do not have to worry about a turbo kit having a slipping belt, unlike the SDS.

For the wheel hop, DM Racing sells firm motor mounts. That will keep your engine in place and tires on the ground.

im loving the kit, and the hood. The wing: shorten the bars, make it closer to the body than higher up. The wheel:gunmetal is cool but you should have gotten the ones with the chromed outer lip. good stuff...do u have a turbo?

nope. no turbo. As of like 5 seconds ago I didn't know they made a kit for this application. Aand Johnny, so with the sds there have been problems with the belts slipping? Well. I just thought that when it's running good that the sds would be better becuz I've just heard alot of people complane about turbo lag and I didn't think that I'ld have that problem with sds. And really wich is better for my car? Turbo or sds. I mean I know that if I were to though a sds on my integra I'ld be getting less whp than if I was to turbo it. But on like an S2000 it's better to go sds because it nearly doubles the hp. So on this particular application, wich is better really? Considering all I'ld be doing is the basic kit. (no huge upgrades....stock internals)

they have fixed the problem with the belt. i would say to go with the SDS. but thats just me

if you want to give the wing a function make it rear wheel drive, its like sitting on the trunk of your car, your front end (where the power comes out) loses traction and isn't effective at all for fwd unless you get a front spoiler to keep the nose down too besides that it looks CLEAN

well thanks for the reaplies. as for the wing I have recently taken it off and it makes the car look soooo much cleaner and wider. I also threw on a wet 75 shot. nice and juicy!!!! mmmmmmmm

nice sounds awesome, jeez you haven't posted here in forever!!

i've been thinking about a 75 wet shot, tell me what you think about it! / which company

ya....it has been a while. actually I've had it since before I had my cai water mishap. let me tell you!!! I started with the 50 shot jet and I thought it was awesome. But when I went to to 75 jet and the 50psi fuel jet it was like night and freakin day!!! let's just say that hittin it in first is kinda pointless and if it's in 2nd or 3rd it'll break em loose and throw you back pretty hard. when I first got the 75 shot working good I raced my buddy's crossfire and eat him up. as for the brand it was originally nitrous works but I had to replace silenoids and I added a nitrous express duel vent purge kit. By the way, if you ever order a purge kit make sure you're getting the silenoid with it. I made that retarded mistake and had to wait till I could get one and I'm not what you might call a patient person. lol

Looks nice. You need to get some big ass foglights in that bumper, or run some brake cooling lines and mesh them up. As gay as I think they are, that wing if tuned right can actually help on track runs. It will keep your ass end from flying out on you in fast high G turns. Is you are planning on doing an FI and still running nitrous, I would go with the SDS because of the lower inlet temps. You might run into some detonation problems if you turbo, although a 75 shot isnt that huge so it might not matter. If you do turbo put a monster FMIC on that, with that body kit that would look sick as hell.

If he is going to go with the SDS then a FMIC would be a waste of time. At least put some mess in the front though. I do agree with the fog lights though. Not to cray about the spoiler but the rest of the car is pretty sharp.

he didn't say. fmic w/ the sds...

but yes, a huge fmic and foglights would look awesome, who cars if the ic is even functional :icon16: and wingless is where it is at

ok this might sound dumb but what do you mean by a non-functional fmic? like just bolt it up and run no piping? sounds a bit too ricey for me. and as for the fog lights.....do you have any idea how hard it is to find lights that size without spending and arm and a leg for them?!?!? lmao I have read though that they make a fmic intak look alike but all the pics I've seen make the ic look really small....looks kinda dumb...oh well. as of right now I'm in need of some body work. (bumpers in a bad town)

yup that's what i meant.. and yes it is ricey, but it still looks good, a grill would suffice

and yes,.. those lights are very expensive i kno

i could only find those intakes for hondas

nexx777
12-22-2005, 10:44 PM
ok....are you talkin about a grill for the fog light holes or the big hole in the middle? cuz I've already got mesh in the middle and the sides....... and excuse me if this sounds mean but there's no way in HELL i'ld put a non functional fmic on my car!! I took the wing off to get away from being ricey. why would I want to go back down that road? lol
