99' VW Beetle

I have owned my Beetle since 99' and I have had nothing but problems and I am wondering if anyone else is having the same. My little VW logo's for my wheel come off all the time and I have to buy new ones. Also my interior is coming unglued on both doors. My overheat light comes on and saves on for about 5 mins and then after about 20 mins of driver it comes back on for about 5 mins and then goes off and my car is not over heating. My window regulators have been replaced twice on both sides. There is more, but this I think is enough for someone to let me know. I contacted VW and the only thing that they will cover at this point is the window regulators. Ever VW beetle that I see that is around the same year as mind is missing lose VW logo's on there wheels, so there has to be a big enough problem for VW to fix it, also the interior. Please let me know if I am not the only one out there that is sick of all these problems.

VWVixen I went the newbeetle website, but it is not in english. I also went to your website, but I didn't see any message from people with the same issues. I am trying to find enough 99' or 00' Beetle owners with the same issues, so that we can contact VW together and get them to repair this problems. Do you or anyone else have any suggestions?

I bought a '98 Beetle when they first came out. I have also had to replace the logo "caps" on both front wheels. My headlites burned out the first year I had it and the battery died after just 2 years. I have replaced the driver side window switch 3 times. I am now of course not under warranty because I bought the car "used" with 94 miles on it so I don't get the original warranty. My 2nd battery died last week and I got it replaced but the radio has to be reset and no one can seem to do this but the dealer, they want $82 to reset the radio. Is this a rip off or what? Does anyone know how to reset the radio? I have the code but I think I have to pull the radio out. I have talked to others with '98's and '99's and they have told me they have had pretty much the same problems (one guy has replaced his healights 4 times in 5 years).
