2005 RSX Changes Confirmed

Someone got out a 05 Helms Manual or something like that from Acura.

Info is scattered throughtout the thread.

Summary:
-21 New Colours (or so). And yes, even Helms can't spell Arctic, and no pink/fuschia/magenta:p
-Civic-like front bumper
-Civic-like headlights without the little scoops at the bottom of the headlights :(
-No HID's
-Tails that look kinda like Prelude Altezzas
-Engine mods (The 05 has a different part number for the throttle body and both the intake and exhaust manifold and Type S muffler.) The head, block, pistons, connecting rods and crank are the same as the previous RSX.
-Different Suspension (dunno what though, just has different codes)
-3 Different rims sets including 17's
-Rear bumper with flares at the bottom


*UPDATE* The 26 colours are including colours for the trim and all that, so there won't actually be 26 exterior colours.

Interesting that they're splitting the base RSX into the RSX and RSX-L, presumably to denote leather interior.

I like the flares on the rear bumper.

Seriously though, that colour list is too long, and how many blacks and silvers do you need?

Update - those 26 colours are EVERY colour in the car including interior trims, etc, not just exterior paint.

I think I'll need to do a little conversion work when those engine parts become available...

Sounds like lots of customizing color-wise...

As long as they don't put in more HP, I really don't care what stying changes they make. Although having the option of 17" wheels without buying a "performance" package is nice.

They are probably changing the perf. and handling, different part numbers for the suspenion, Type S muffler, throttle body and both the intake and exhaust manifold.
