springs are non-adjustable and performance is not near that of a coilover set up. basically springs are just for the lowered stance, nothin more

What are your plans for the car..drag, auto x, or just for looks. and how much are you willing to spend. Since you are just lowering 1.5 inches I would say get springs. but if you are doing this for a auto x set up, then get some full bodied true coils. Don't waste your money on sleeve over coilovers. Too many bad things result from them. And a spring will perfrom just as good as a sleeve over coilover. Not to say that all sleeve overs are bad, but in the end after you replace the struts and get some good sleeve overs like gound control, you will be spending about as much as it would cost you to get a full bodied coilover which I personally feel are the best rout. But like I said it all depends on what you want out of you car!

lowering springs are for show, coilovers, for go.

I guess Tokico makes an ok entry level coilover for those with a tight budget. I think it's called Illumina. Like, 5 way adjustable and under a grand. Way better than a sleve setup. Check ebay.

go with the good brand coilovers, cuz it is adjustable. once you put lowering springs on, that'z it... it is not adjustable, if you don't like the spring, you have to get another set..... so go with coilovers...
