ok i have two setups..

91 5 spd 3000gt sl vs. 2000 chevy monte carlo atx

and..

the same 3000gt vs. 97 v6 firebird atx

I know the SL will take the firechicken if it is a stock v6, just make sure you take him off the line it is an auto.. and its still going to be close.

As for the monte carlo, you couldnt take an SS, but im not sure about the regular atx, its still a bigger V6 than your 3.0, should be good races.

yeah all the firebird has is magnaflows he just got em put on a few days ago. but yeah the monte is the SS. but its my girlfriends dad and he always messes with me saying he'd beat me which he prob would but i wont really be able to race him. if i race my friend w/ the bird tho ill let u know the outcome. has anyone raced a v6 firebird with an sl???

dude a monte carlo SS has only 200hp and weighs a little bit more than your car. you should be able to take him. same thing with the firebird.

You will take the Monte Carlo LS
You will take the Monte Carlo SS
You will take the Firebird or it will be a close one....just shift properly and your fine

yeah the ss has 200 hp but its also got like, 225 ft lbs of torque..and its got a 3.5...i thought the ss would put up more of a fight then the firebird

dude the Newer Monte Carlo SS are exactly like the Camaro V6, they got the 3800 series 3.8 liter. Except diffrent body trust me my friends parents have a 2003 monte SS and thier daughter's Crysler Sebring can beat it and it's got a sohc 3.0L
