If you buy a wiring kit for your amp, it should have a wiring diagram for wiring the capacitor in your system.

It holds a charge and uses it when you need it. It helps your lights from dimming and stuff like that. Hook it up like this:

hmm, thats sounds interesting, now i jsut need money, and the ability to turn up the volume, because when i crank it up to just barely standable, the cd skips, and the radio music isnt good anyway =(

sounds like you either need to redifine "barely standable" to something quieter, or invest in a more expensive HU :p

well, barely standable would be where the bass shakes the entire car, but at that moment the cd will skip, and it makes me sad, the hu is just a cheap jvc one i got for christmas, my understanding was that my dad and i were gonna go out shopping for one, and hed pay for some of it, but i guess i was wrong. oo well

Alpine H/U's are great if you want the CD's not to skip, I have mine and it has NEVER skipped.
