Whats up everyone... I was wondering if anybody knows when the Nismo 350 Z R-Type is coming to North American and about how much would it cost. Also about how much would the insurance for that car cost for a 20yo?

Hmm... that's news to me. I know in 2007, they're coming out with a skyline, but are unsure whether it will be sc or turboed. It looks similar to a Z, but with a longer base and agressive looking ground effects (prototype) with a sticker to shock the world! IMO, way overpriced . . . just save the money for internal upgrades and a turbo kit.

On a funny note, perhaps they'll start stickering them with Type R - - I'm sure that will be good for 15HP *LOL* :D

They already came out with the Skyline. Its called the G35 here. They are planning on a new GTR, but they wont call it Skyline, they will call it the GTR. I don much about it, but I know it will come out here.

I was under the impression that GTR is just the top of the line skyline . . .

I was under the impression that GTR is just the top of the line skyline . . .

It was, similar to how the M3 was the top of the line 3-series. However, the GT-R and Skyline names have supposedly been separated. That could also account for why the Skylines have the new 'V' designation and the GT-R may keep the 'R.'

Hey Knighthawk,

Insurance for me isn't as high as I would expect being 20...the car is under my name and my insurance runs me about 150mo.

It's called the Type E. Only five productions cars were made and already sold in Japan only.

And the S-Tune and R-Tune only available in Japan..for now

plus the S-Tune is $38,000 and only a few more horsepower the the current Z.
