5.8 engine swap

Look yall..my freind who has a 92 camaro Rs just got an Ls1 swap..WTF i didnt even know that was possible, he said it cost him his new car so i hope its gonna be worth it.. but youll now my other freind who has a 5.0 has also been savin up for another car got jealous and just got a 351W engine swap..DAmnit what the hell am i spose to do with a 5.0, it seems pointless now!Should i still get it even though im not gonna be able to beat em?

A modded 5.0 can easily take a stock LS1 and just dropping in a 351W w/o changing the internals is not impressive in the least.

Yea, if you have some money for mods, their dead. Since that LS1 cost so much, then I would assume that there is no money for mods. That 351 could beat you with mods, but like GTStang said, with stock internals, you got him too. So yea its still worth it.
