Alpine 2 way.. if your using a weak amp or head unit power.. it makes really good bass.. not good for HIGH volumes tho
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14942&item=5712162937&rd=1
kenwood 3 way.. i heard them in my friends car... not the best speakers in the world but for 75rms and head unit power its LOUD
and if you are going to get pioneer get one of the following
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14942&item=5710510244&rd=1
pioneer 5 way yea its worth it.. just high pass it and fade to the front more.. it'll do fine. also it makes good bass incase u wanted alot of bass
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=58031&item=5710979706&rd=1
supposed to be the best sounding pioneers.. it lacks real bass. but the midbass is great

well i think out of them.. here i've heard them all but maybe with different settings heres my short lil review
mb quart 3 way really clear.. can take lots of power.. not that much bass
infinity 3 way also clear.. but treble hurts at high volume.. seriously hurts..
alpine 2 way treble not deafening, lots of bass, not good for high volumes
kenwood 3 way really loud using head unit power
pioneer 5 way good bass response.. very clear.. but not deafening
pioneer 2 way clear not that loud.. good midbass
out of those i would get either the infinity / mb quart / pioneer
i still would say mb quart.. just there isn't too much bass... but hey thats what your subwoofers for.. anyways i'll find a sub package later

prefab bandpass is good for one thing, test tones
if you play rap, then you want ported, because rap songs range from about 30-120hz, and if you have a prefab bandpass you'll only be playing 1/4 of that.

well audiobahn gets bashed around here alot.. i myself dont like it because my friend blew an audiobahn sub when underpowering it.. but you'd want to use the 2 channel mode.. find 2 subs, and each sub would take one channel
now it can run at 1 ohm.. but not that many amps can run cool at 1 ohm.. i say do the 2 ohm thing.. but now u have 2 choices.. which one you pick is really up to you
if you use the 2 ohm mode... then you should buy two kicker comp vr's i had one before.. and i put one more (exactly the same) in my car.. it was LOUD well for my tastes anyways it was almost as loud as my friends RE .HC 12 (@40hz) mine was in a prefabe box but it sounded good anyways.. you would need 2 dual 4 ohm ones.. because with dual 4 ohm you either get 2 ohm or 8 ohm when you're done with the wiring
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=39777&item=5712270910&rd=1
thats the sub u want to get.. check if it it DUAL 4 OHM ok? you'll want 2 of them its the best sub for the price next to an alpine type R
anyways all in all you will need to end up with something like this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v354/aznxthuggie/DSC00024.jpg
thats the one my friend had, the one i had was only one side of that

Dont buy a vented box straight from someone, bad idea. Do you have a saw? If so go to home depot, get some 3/4"mdf and we will start building lol.

lol yah that works also.. also im waiting for my next system before i make my own box.. actually i'll end up paying home depot or soemthing to cut it.. i'll just be putting it together
Haibane

Don't pay home depot to cut it, they leave a lot of room for mess up

email [email protected] ([email protected]) Tell him what subs you are putting in a box, ask him if he can make a box for you, tell him you want the optimum box and you dont really know what you are doing. He will probably ask for the size of the trunk etc...
