Overhead console in 92?

I have acquired an overhead console from a Blazer/Jimmy with a trip computer that I want to mount into my extended cab.

Will I be able to get the trip computer to work in my truck? (Looking at my Haynes) Would tapping into the speed signal for the cruise control or RWAL at the convenience center under the dash and/or the serial data from pin E on the ALDL provide the right signals it needs?

Only info I seem to be able to find is for S-series.
