OBD II Question

Does anyone in here use an OBD II? I've been following used ones on eby and am thinking about picking one up.

Are there any recommended brands for the home mechanic?

I'd just go to AutoZone to get a brand new one.

I bought the Actron 9130 at Auto Zone for 130.00 on sale. I am really pleased with it. It is well made and easy to use and it is made in USA too. It has helped me trouble shoot 2 problems on my Escort already.
