Jadatoys Initial D

hey guys, i just recently purchased a FC and the R32 ..i must say im not impressed from the quality of the FC..the paint has marks, scratches and chips..also the motor is fully chromed!!...but besides that, the FC isnt to bad..but the skyline's paint is very good. you guys can check out the car collection at Jadatoys website!...i took pics of the cars, but im to lazy to upload any of them...
so be careful if u guys purchase any of these, always check for bad paint etc..=)

where did you get them from? and what scale are we talking about here? because all of the initial d's i have seen have all been great quality

i got these at a local wal-mart...i actually exchanged one because of all the paint chips on one...the one i got now is much better, but there's a bump of paint on the rear bumper, and lots of dust on both the models i got, which isnt a big deal..I'm happy with them!..oh yeah, they're the 1/24 scale ones

not a big fan of the initial d cars in the line (except the trueno), but the packaging is amazing, ill pick up a few just because of the packaging.

o i saw those at wal-mart to but i enevr knew jadatoys made them? they dunt look to bad but i aint into 1/24 scales. but i like playing initial D.

I never knew Jadatoys made those. I'll probably see them within the next week...

the thing i hate about jada toys is that their engines are soo ugly

Yeah its like jada toys are pretty cool but why do their engines always have to be chrome?

not all of the engines are chrome. just some off the top of my head the 1:24 Grand national has black, white and chrome. and the 1:18 Navigator has no chrome but its very nice engine detail, the best i have seen, they have added some nice color under the hood

the engine is just 1 flat peice, but the cars r cool, does anyone else make initial D cars?

no one here in the US makes Initial D cars except Jada, there is probably some one over in across the ocean that makes them for over there

dude these cars are freakin awesome!! im gonna have to get me one! or two, three, or maybe 4.....

well over here where i got it, (canada)..it cost me 12 dollars and some what cents..i cant really remember, but i thought it was a fair price..the engines in these models arent one flat piece like the supra that i have, it actually is sort of 3-D ..yet, i think the chrome ruins the car when the hood is open..

Oh yeah, there are only 4 1/24 scale Initial D cars available right now according to the back of the packaging....The AE86, FC, FD, and the R32..

Tell me about it, I am here and I am like what other cars are there(these are sweet anyways). And I bought the 32 and fc the second I saw them and now I wish I hadn't because I have to wait for the others.
Great cars I think I will start detailing the engine pay and get rid of all that chrome.

yeah same here, since most of the stuff in the motor u can take out,i'll probably end up paintin everything flat back and work it out from there..but yah, hopefully i find the 86 and fd around.

As of right now the only 1/24 available are the FC & the R33. The others willl come later. All the cars are available in 1/64. You can find them at Target, Kmart or collectablediecast.com

I think this looks much better then all chrome. but i think i still got to get rid of some more..what do u think?

Yea I think you have to do a little more. Checked my stores yesterday and no 86 or fd yet gaaaaahh.
When I get around to doing my engines I might just paint it a different color silver or not so shiny chrome and then go from there.

I kinda think thats the right balance there DJ. You don't want to make the engine too dark so just leave it the way it is.

I just got another Rx7..But this time i got the Model Kit one..I must say this one is in even worse condition, but i dont mind because i will be giving this one a re-paint anyways..

my plans so far are repainting the engine, rim change, and painting the car black.
