Well, I finally finished my first bike. It's the Yamaha YZF-R1 Taira Racing. It's a little different from the "regular" R1, with some extra parts. One of those parts is a different rear mudgard, wich is supposed to be covered in carbon-Kevlar, but I decided to try the "spray-thru-mesh" way, with some pretty satisfying results, may I add :D Appart from that, it's OOB.
I have to say that building a bike is not very "easy", but I think, with some effort and work, you get a marvelous model, with awsome detail.
Anyways, here they are.
Comments are welcome, good OR bad.

I love it, I am really starting to get into bikes more now that I have a roomate with one. I have started customizing little metal versions he has and I am really falling in love, I will be buying an actual bike kit very soon since my roomate will front the money :naughty: great job, the bile looks awesome.

Very nicely done.
I like a simple paintjob better than the multi-colored, and super decaled farings that are popular now.

Add some Bare Metal Foil (Chrome) to the headlight reflectors and some Tamiya Smoke to the rear of the windscreen and it would look like a 1:1.
Very nice, clean job.

Thank you for all your nice comments!
Well, about the UV screen: the kit came with it, but I just can't get a 100% right look. The tamiya smoke would be a good idea, IF I had a good airbrush, wich I don't...The BMF on the reflectors is also a very good idea, I just will have to take the front section apart :D
Again, thank you for the comments!
