Do they really have to make a movie of every sucessful video game? :rolleyes:

All the good movies have already been made,so if that's where the money is,I guess they do.Not that its o.k.,but.:(

well its got michelle rodriguez and milla jovavich in it. granted, theyre not the worlds greatest actresses, but it appears that the movie wont be too low budget. im a fan of the games, so i might check it out.

plus, i noticed it said there was brief nudity next to its R rating

Why the hell do they have to keep making damn video game movies, Look at Tomb Raider, it was a flop, look at the MK movies, they flopped. Can't hollywood see the common "flop" trend for Video Games turned to movies? I mean come on, MK rocked:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I think I'd go see the movie. I also heard that they are in the process of making a movie based on the game The House of dead.

I'm sorry I brought this thread back but this movie kicks ass!!!! I love it!!! Especially the music and everything.

They are working on Resident Evil 2 right now:D

I believe that Resident Evil was the only movie based on a video game I EVER liked! besides wing commander...
but Resident evil was damn good...and the soundtrack- oh hell yeah.

RE: the soundtrack:

There's an unreleased end theme that kicks major ass...it's a vocal chanting backed with a tribal/ritual music- percussion, woodwinds, violin...it's amazing.
Here, you've just seen this movie where everything goes to HELL and back, the last thing you see is "Alice" in the middle of an abandoned city FILLED with Zombies, then it cuts to the credits and starts playing this incredibly light-hearted, tribal ritual music...It's the perfect way to drive home the events of the movie...or at least, I thought so...the directors didn't...:-D

did anyone read the final prep script? in the end, Alice and the guy that went to Nemisis (He didn't go to nemisis before the re-write) end up going across the nation and fighting Zombies in this pimped out RV...white queen makes an appearence, detailing the final days of humanity...and it's cynical bitch (Rains) that gets pulled into the room o' zombies, not JD...good thing they changed that. I liked her! :-D

I too liked the movie. When I saw it in the theaters, I found it disturbing as it was so damned dark, but I have flipped through it a few times since then, and I am really enjoying it now.
