Master cylinder questions

I have a 97 Maxima with master cylinder problems. The master cylinder is a Nabco. This car does not have ABS. A person at the local NOPI store told me that he can order a Tokico, that will replace the Nabco without any problems, at about half the cost. Can anyone having experence in this area enlighten me ?
