Well, Its summer, and i want something new to play with besides building models. So.. I came accross RC cars.
I dont and will refuse to get a xmod, or anyother crappy RC from Radio Shack. So This is the car i am planing to buy.. http://hobbypeople.net/gallery/315318.asp
Its 4wd, Not preassmebled... Cheap price, (and im on a buget :smokin: )
Or should i get the scooby, its also 4wd, and not preassembled.

Is the assembely easy? or should my RC shop Build it for me? whats best for a noob like me?
Thanks.

Those are pretty good choices, and since ur into car modeling, these things will be a breeze to put together, but still make sure u read the instuctions and follow them correctly, make sure to use grease where needed. Umm i dunno if those ones come with a RC unit (controller) if not, they can get quite expensive, i would suggest a RTR (ready to run) kit, comes with alomost everything you need, just need a battery and a charger i believe, something like this: http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/315098.asp
and since ur a newcomer to RC cars, DO NOT GET GAS POWERED ONES!! super high maintanace, and can get pricey

I agree with aN4rK1. What's your budget? If it's not very high, you might consider getting a RTR instead of a kit. The reason being, with a RTR, a radio is included and installed also. If you insist on buying a kit, you might want to save up your money for a while and buy a slightly better one and a good entry level radio. But, it all depends on what your budget is. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
