Im just wondering if there were any Bush fans out there. im not for 1. all i hear about is how much people are not gonna vote for bush, but then i see the stats and its says its an even split. i have never heard from 1 person to tell me their opposing point of view. if there are any bush voters out there post in your opinions and tell me why you would still vote for bush. thanx.

I'd vote for Kerry. I hate Bush, and that's my primary reason. Oh, and Kerry has a good name. And did I mention that he's very much in favor of teachers and particularly females in math and science-related fields?

Not sure. neither one has struck a cord. I watched the speech with clinton tonight, which was ok, but I still want to know more about WHAT kerry's main agenda will be...
I grew up with politics in the family, but I am still uncertain just what repub & Dem stand for with their points of views. That would probally be because my pops was a STRONG Repub & any debate otherwise was grounds for arguments, so I nicked politics out and turned a blind eye.
SO, if someone can explain simply what both stand for, then great.

I don't think it'd be a good idea for someone to explain these things to you, as opposed to you trying to decipher them yourself.
If people explained it you, they'll be passing-on their particular bias towards or against any particular party, along with the rest of their explanation.

I'm all for a three-party election, but in this specific election, a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. The right is unified, the left is split. Ironically, if you vote for a pot-smoking tree-hugger, you'll most CERTAINLY end up with a blundering, oil-crazy, keen on jesus hee-haw ecosystem rapist.
Hell, I watched T.H. Kerry's DNC speech last night. Kerry's wife seems more worldly and intelligent than the current President himself...

I think it's quite hypocritical that you call Kerry a huge liar, and can actually support Bush with a straight face. I know I wouldn't be able to. :cwm27:
If you'll notice, the only time he said he was against the war was when he explained that he was against the way Bush went to war, instead of taking the time to let the inspectors gather some proof, and then build a multinational coallition to invade, Bush simply invaded, and now Iraq is a mess because of it.

Then you have my sincerest apologies, I made a mistake. Actually, I should have been able to tell you're not pro-Bush because you don't have a large anti-Kerry pic in your sig. :icon16:
I view Kerry as the lesser of two evils, although not by much. I much more prefer the Clinton/Kerry Democrat corporate whoring over the Bush corporate whoring, mostly over foreign policy decisions, really. I don't live in the US, so trade policies and foreign policy matters concern me quite a bit more than "the moral fibre" of the candidate.

Bush. Kerry is way (& I mean WAY) too far to the left. Any temporary leanings towards the center are very temporary.
The war on terror, Yes we took the war to them, not waiting for them to bring it here again.

You might want to re-think that.
Bush HAS lied, as evidenced by the fact that more than 50% of the American voting public in most major polls has given feedback that he has at the minimum, "massaged" the truth - even those that are staunchly Republican.
As for the "Liberal" part, Bush has been one of the most liberal President's we've had, money-wise, or at the minimum, he has been irresponsible with our money.
Your narrow-minded fanaticism about your preferred candidate is ugly.
How about for once (as Yogs would say about the "other side"), you show support by bringing your candidate's issues up front, instead of bashing the other side?
Of course, Yogs would claim that Bush-bashing is all-too-rampant in here, which is true to a point. See, Bush is the one that is giving his bashers the material - and they're usually directly related to him as a person, and/or as a President.
I'll be starting a thread, discussing the above...Here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=272673).

I don't do anything blindly as the Kerry fanatics do. I won't stoop to your nonsense as you have no interest in accepting anything contrary to you left-slanted bias. I will admit that I would NEVER vote for a democrat, and there is ONE reason for that. I could never support ANYONE affiliated with a party who is not opposed to murdering unborn children. Other than that I will also admit that there are democrats who have had decent things to add...but they still would support abortion. THAT is a biggie. If a person doesn't care about killing the unborn....I have no use for them.

Great, that's your personal opinion. It isn't mine, I'm for abortion. I think if you don't agree with it, fine, don't use the service, but you have no right to bar someone else from it. I know a great many girls who have had kids young, and are now single moms, and are trapped. Those kids are going to be forced to live a life of poverty, and are never going to have the chances that they deserve. The odds of a kid coming from a poor single parent family and not having at least one serious personality disorder are pretty slim, I know this for a fact.

BTW, everything on that first post in the thread I linked to, was thought-out, and typed-out, by me. Good for you! Night classes seem to be working out for you. Maybe you'll continue to strive to do better.
Oops...WRONG. gee what might you used as a key word in your search?
....Alright, walk your talk, "studmuffin"...I have had 22+ views to this thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=272673), and no replies. I have no idea why, Probably because it would be a genuine waste of time. You are just looking for an internet pissing contest. Why beg people to go to YOUR thread? You will NOT graciously accept any opinions other than your own.
...loudmouthed blowhards like you, can't thrive in that situation. If you can dish it you should certainly be able to take it.

Great, that's your personal opinion. It isn't mine, I'm for abortion. I think if you don't agree with it, fine, don't use the service, but you have no right to bar someone else from it.
Don't make me pay for it either. The problem is that the government makes me pay for the ones that can't afford to pay for it themselves.
So they are better off dead. ?????????????

How is abortion different than killing someone who is alive?
Those girls who had kids young were not trapped, they were selfish. They could have given their baby up for adoption and given it a better life. But you know why they dont? Because they know the government will send them their welfare check every month, and their brand new medicaid card every year.

The thread has taken a turn to abortion. A fine debate in itself, but not where the thread started.
