92 iat sensor

i just got one of those performance chips for my iat sensor, i found the iat sensor, it has 6 wires, but a friend told me that only 2 out of those 6 wires come from the iat sensor, anyone in here could help me with that? my car is an eclipse GS 92, 2.0L 16V non-turbo

Dont even bother with that IAT "resistor mod" ......But if you really wanna know yyou dont do anything with the wires you unplug the Harness and then plug the resistor into the harness. then tape it up or do something so no moisture gets in there.

if your looking at the harness from the left to the right the wires are # 5 + 6

, thanks for time, i'll try that as soon as i get up tomorrow morning, i just have another question, , my eclipse's been giving some problems with the idle thing, the rpm's , u know, sometimes it is running at 750 , sometimes about 450, i know this ain't normal, i tried replacing , fuel injectors,fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs, spark plugs wires, a,d nothing could solve the problem,, do u think the iat sensor could be the problem, ? any answer would help, thanks again
