96 vortec 350 problems, hard starting and cutting out

Ok, I've got a 96 1500 with 350 vortec with 130,000 on it. It is somtimes hard to start when cold(have to crank it over and over for a few minutes) it also cuts out momentarily when driving(part throttle when under a load). Doesn't always run bad and doesn't always start hard.

I have replaced, gas tank(was dented), sending unit, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, air filter isn't old, cleaned the throttle body and upper intake cover and idle air solenoid, plugs, wires, cap and rotor have about 15k on them, also changed the TPS, 3 of the 4 O2 sensors(2 were really bad, been a while ago though). Only thing I know that it needs is exhaust, it's lowered and i had to cut it off before the rear end then the rest broke off about 2 feet after the cats. I haven't found a place around here to do it.

Somebody give me a clue on this thing, please!!!

Well, it sounds like you've covered the basics that anybody on here would tell ya man. So that leaves some more serious problems (or a really simple one, like bad gas). You could have a lobe gone off of your cam. Or, it could be just those 130,000 miles showing up (especially if they have been hard miles). I do'nt know what to tell ya, other then to just take it to a garage, and get them to put it on an analyzer.

Also, your exhaust would have nothing to do with it, since it still has the converter (unless your converter is stopped up or partially stopped up).

I'm not sure if this will be helpful to you or not, just taking a guess at the hard starts. I had a fuel pump relay going bad on me and it was a hard starter, only about $15 to replace and easy to do. I'm not sure if your's would be the same or not (mine is a '90), but once you turn the key on, you can hear the relay (kind of a buzz) sending fuel.

Just a stab at it, hope you find out what's wrong with it!
