Interior sun fade problem

Hey all new here, cool site. I have a 98 GTP with 68k miles. Has the camel interior and I am having serious sun fade issues. The dash pad looks horrible and the plastic bezel that surround the instrument cluster, radio, and heater controls has faded to a blueish color. Is there anyone else that has experienced this, and are there companies that sell overlays for the dashes in these cars? I will more than likely repaint everything if I cannot find anything decent in the aftermarket. Thanks!

You might try www.signsbydrex.com and he can make almost anything you want in overlays for a GP............~Larry~

Ive seen replacements on ebay. But I have the grey or charcole interior. My car is black and I was going to take mine off and have it professionally sprayed a glossy black, its not faded I just thought it would look good.I think 2 screws under the steering colum then it snaps off. There are some GP sites that have carbon fiber replacements that look cool, but I dont know how it would look with your interior.I would just have it sprayed in a glossy finish to a color that would complement your interior.

I had thought about having it sprayed red (car color), but that might be a bit overwhelming in the interior. I will more than likely just pop it apart and get some SEM products to repaint it the factory color. I am getting the windows tinted tomorrow (Wed) to help with the fading problems. Thanks for the info on removal, I was really wondering if there was hardware holding it there, or if it just snapped on.
As far as the dash pad goes, how does it come apart? It is faded bad, and actually has started to splotch. I would really like to redo that, but am not to excited about pulling the dash.
Thanks guys.

You might also want to look into a good quality sunshield, ive got a custom one made by Covercraft and is well worth the money and helps protect the dash.........~Larry~
