aux water pump

How do I check to make sure the aux. water pump for the turbo is working? g22 relay, temp sensor,? pulled a blown 7.5 amp fuse and replaced it ( is that common) for the relay. where is the pump located. I purchased a hanes manual for the car (87-951) that is worthless. Whats a good tech manual for the car? I purchased the 951 3 weeks back and man it rocks.
