arp head bolts

ok here is my problem, i have my head taken apart (7mgte) and im ready to start putting everything back together. my question is kind of stupid. when i go to torque the new arp head studs do i torque the stud or the bolt? second if its the bolt does that require a special socket or will any 1/2 inch drive work.

You have the studs/nuts or the bolts? If you mean the studs all you do is tighten the studs down, then when you torque the nut on it will pull the stud also. 85ftlbs was the number I believe so use whatever fits the nut the most tightly since you do not want it to round any.
