anyone have any ideas on how to cheaply squeeze a few extra hp out of my 1999 suzuki jimny?

put a new exaust system into it. or go to a wrecker and find a turbo

i dont really think a turbo is an option. as for the exhaust system, how much do you know about jimnys?

not much they aren't commenly customised. You could also get a peformance chip installed

for the exhaust system you are looking at around $500

im not saying im incompetent around an engine, but im sure theres a way to squeeze a bit more power. as for the exhaust, the standard one is more than enough with 1600 size pipes on a 1300. its pointless picking up a new chip, i want to keep my excellent mpg. what about ht leads or air filters or even a quick tweak?
