87 Top Speed

ok guys sup, i want 2 know how fast my mustang woudl go stock. i heard they would reach 120 and wont go faster. im thining thats not true. thanks,

I just got my 91 up to 125 today.

I wish I had pics of my speeding ticket.........137 in a 70 :eek7: , 87 GT bone stock except computer reflash to remove speed limiter. Cost me $2500 in Misssouri, but 3 years later, I finally have my license back :flipa:

87 GT auto bone-stock 135mph and there was more to go I just let off.

Hit a little shy of 140 in my 91 convetible but ran out of gear

yeah 120 does not sound right, even with a less than perfect areodynamic front end. My grand-am had a chip in it to remove the top speed cut out and i had it up to almost 130. It was a 4-cyl.!!!

kinda off topic, but everyone says that mustangs can't have top speed...

back in 1967 carrol shelby got his "stock" 67 Gt-500SS to got 170 at daytona... not to shabby from 1967 and a car that was built to go on the street. too bad they only made one :(

120? shit i can almost get my 2.3 to 120, although the speedo stops at 85.

Wow, so my 87 would hit 148. Damn thats a little to quick for me and its stick so its dangerous. My mom wants to buy me a 99 Civic Si. But my dad doesnt want to. He wants to pass down his Mustang which is mine already. He has been the original owner since they were on sale so this mustang is staying in our family. thanks guys

Hey genius. That 120 that you said was "too slow" is still too fast for you. Tell daddy to buy you the Civic so you don't wrap yourself around a tree the first time you go out. :screwy:

Well Its goign to be that dangerous im not goign to be flying down the freeway or streets. im not going to street race until i do get the hang of it.
