Ok, so I have a fuel injected Mustang right. Well, what I want to know is this, how can I fit or when can find a butterfly scoop onto my engine? My understanding is that they just bolt over the filter, right? well, any way, I'm thankful for any feedback.

most often they are used in carbuerated applications, where it is an easy bolt on and go. But in theory what you would do is remove all your air intake lines, and put the scoop directly on top of the opening in your intake manifold. I would go an easier route and just have a ram air hood to simplify all procedures (cutting hood, fitting scoop, linkage problems, etc.)

I realize that a hood scoop is easier, I planning on having a cowl induction hood scope on, but I like the look of a butterfly intake coming out of that. It's not about what's easy, it's about making it look sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
