factory keyless entry mod

Has anyone thought about or atempted to modify the keyless entry so that the panic button sends a charge to the starter for a remote start option? I am sure a relay of some sort would have to be in the loop somewhere, but does anyone think this is possible?

Anyone have an idea of exactly how to make it work.

I imagine it would work on the same principle as any other remote starter. where as the receiver will get the signal and send current to the starter, right? of course something would have to power the coil at the same time as the starter to get it to actually start.

Hmmmmm, i'm open for suggestions, or discouragements.
