golf III

if i have a 96 golf 4 door with a 2.0 engine and i wanted to put a vr6 engine in it what all would i have to change. would any of the components from the 2.0 fit the vr6. and also what other v6 engines could i put in it that would be better than the vr6 but wouldnt involve major modification.
