I got one of these not quite a year ago, not really knowing what i was doing to my car but I had heard that the air filter needed to be replaced so i talked to a guy who found this for me (instead of me finding one myself). Anyways the other day i popped my hood and the damn thing had fallen off! The glue to where the filter is stuck the bracket that is bolted into the MAS had gotten to hot and just came off! I used a product called "All-Purpose Welder" to put it back on...just kinda pisses me off that something like that would just fall off cause of the glue. Guess the question is, think the welder stuff will work, or should i invest in a different type of air filter!? Thanks

dude, just get a K&N. Or if you want to glue that thing on, there's nothing crazier than JB Weld, that stuff is the strongest crap out there.

Or you could go to home depot get some chicken wire make it into a circle, get a napkin and wrap it around the chicken wire with some duck tape and theres your filter. lol :grinyes:

I think there should be an adjustable worm clamp there instead of glue...
